Lightline canopies, Feeney's newest addition to our Architectural Products line!
Lightline® Canopies are Easy to Maintain.
Important Note:
All stainless steel components are made of 304 grade stainless steel with a fine grain satin
finish and the aluminum components have a clear anodized finish. Under certain conditions, both materials will tarnish and oxidize when exposed to corrosive forces in the following environments:
- High humidity with salinity (seaside environments)
- Exposure to chlorinated water (swimming pools)
- Water containing any residual chemicals (recycled water)
- Water containing construction chemicals (i.e. rainwater transfer off building façade)
- Areas with excessive pollution (acid rain)
Primary Cleaning
- Any residue from shipping, installation (drill dust, etc.) or surrounding construction, should be removed immediately to prevent damage to your Lightline canopy.
Care/Prevention
- Regular cleaning of the product is very important (6-12 month intervals in normal environments, 3-6 month intervals in heavier polluted areas).
- Clean the acrylic pane and aluminum components with mild dishwashing soap and water and a non-abrasive, soft cloth.
- Clean the stainless surfaces with Enviro-MagicŪ cleaner, available from Feeney.
- Periodically check to see that all attachment hardware is tight and secure.
- As necessary, clear the rain gutter channels of dirt and debris to ensure proper water flow.
